Vermont's outdoor lighting bill, H.99, as amended by the committee on Natural Resources and Energy, has been reported out favorably and will be brought to the floor of the House tomorrow, 2/13. Hopefully it will survive its second and third readings and then move to the Senate.  There is still a long way to go!

List members from Vermont should contact their legislators to support this bill.

H.99 establishes a committee with a legislative mandate to develop voluntary guidelines for good outdoor lighting in Vermont.  State funded outdoor lighting will be required to follow the guidelines.  The current version of the bill can be found at
