(ATMoB:Discuss) [Fwd: Crelin / There Once Was a Sky Full of Stars]

Dear friends and family,

I am thrilled to announce that my first children's book, 'There Once Was a
Sky Full of Stars' (Sky Publishing € $12.95) is now available and beginning
to be shipped as I speak.

This unique and lyrical bedtime story introduces children (and parents) to
the magic of the starry night skies, the dilemma of light pollution and how
we can all fix it. The *beautiful* illustrations by artist Amie Ziner have
captured the wonder and drama of the story (set amongst accurately-rendered
stars and constellations). Each purchase includes a donation to the
International Dark Sky Association too!

In all of my efforts to help our society reduce light pollution, I've found
that the most common thing standing in the way has been a simple lack of
awareness(!) This book is an endearing way to awaken our awareness by
reaching the hearts (and common sense) of all readers and listeners.

For the holiday season and beyond, please consider this book for children in
your families, or for your local libraries, schools, etc. Currently it is
available through Sky directly, but please also ask for it at book stores,
or online book sellers. (I welcome any ideas from you on how to get this
book out there in a big way - please feel free to contact me!)

If all kids in the world today had this book read to them (or read it
themselves), there would be no such thing as light pollution in our future.
Help me change the world.

Thanks for listening!
Sincerely,

Bob Crelin
