Schedule of Programs
Art and Astronomy will be the theme at the
Chelmsford Public Library in May
2002. In addition to an art exhibit and the
creation of a book of poetry,
essays and other writings about the sky we have
a full line-up of other
programs. The Cultural Council's display case will
have an exhibit of glass
art from the collection of Geri Walsh. Her
collection includes pieces
created by world-renown glass artist Josh Simpson
that were inspired by the

Telescope Clinic and How to Buy a
Telescope
Kelly Beatty, executive editor of Sky and Telescope Magazine, and
friends
will help you decide what type of telescope is best for you and give
you
advice and information that will help you make your purchase. If
you've
already purchased a telescope but have had problems using it, for one
reason
or another, bring it along and have the experts take a look at it.
Maybe
they can help you.
