I thought the same thing, but it didn't seem to make much difference and I
can only store 5 TIFFs on my memory card (at 1600 resolution). Although
this resolution might not produce a better pic than at 1024. I think that these pictures
*were* Tiffs originally before I subtracted, but I really don't remember. As
I said, I tried it both ways and jpeg seemed to work okay. The original
TIFFs are certainly long gone now.
