RE: (ATMoB:Discuss) Scope help
Shawn,
I have an LX-90 scope that uses what I'm sure must be the same focuser. The
link below is to a web page that has some great info for the LX-90,
including how to take care of focuser problems. You may find that your
focuser is still having problems, even after performing these steps. In that
case you may have to replace it. It's not as tough as it sounds. It's just 3
allen screws. In fact, I have a brand new spare focuser that you are welcome
to if you want to pick it up, or I can bring it to the Thursday meeting if
you will be there. Here is the link that I mentioned.

Subject: (ATMoB:Discuss) Scope help
Hello all,
I am an ATMoB member with a Meade LX 10 that I bought last year. It doesn't
get much use, but when it does, it gets treated very kindly.
I am having a problem in that I an not pull anything into focus, and the
range in the focus knob seems to have become limited.
I was hoping someone might be able to have a look at it, and maybe help me
to fix the problem (if it s fixable).
Please let me know, and we can arrange a time and place.
Thank you,
Shawn Fitzmaurice
